"Day 9 of BEDA, and there's still no sign of the nice men with butterfly nets who have come to take me away. I hear they have padded cells there..."
Which is really quite surprising, because some crazy stuff comes out when I decide to write every day.
Today I didn't really do anything. I had a killer migraine so I spent the majority of the day hidden away in
Hmmm... what else?
Yesterday I helped my sister with a project for school. We made a shadow box full of things representative of dealing with grief, and it all related to our friend Morgan who died in a car crash two years ago. Honoring and remembering her is always great.
She loved to play tennis, and Maria Sharapova was her idol, so she got the nickname Mopova. They gave us those tennis balls at her funeral.
Alright lovelies, I'm sorry this blog is so short and boring, but my head really is killing me. Maybe I'll actually go to bed early. Probably not.
Peace,
Linds
Sorry that you have a migraine. I know how awful that can be. Best thing to do is go to bed and put head under duvet! I find pills don't always work and I hate taking them. I've been eating too much chocolate and pepsi this holiday which brings on 'the headache', when will I ever learn? Hope you feel better.:)
ReplyDeletePS --thanks for the reply! I enjoy reaing your writing and hope you want an audience for your work!
If you want to check me out, here's my school website: www.kilmartin.argyll-bute.sch.uk
I've just started it so there's not too much on it yet!
It's ok, I used to have migraines every day, I can handle them once in a while. I'm sorry you're been getting headaches too!
ReplyDeleteSure! I didn't know how to reply for awhile, but then I realized I could just comment on the same blog! Haha, I'm slow sometimes.
You are so sweet! I love having an audience, although I'm not sure I deserve it. I'm glad you enjoy it, nonetheless. :)
So wait- You run that school? That's so cool! It's beautiful. I love that you're already getting them involved in charity work- I can't remember my school doing that when I was that age.
We do lots of charity work - possibly I think some of the parents think that it's too much! But I think the children learn lots about their world by doing so.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes - I run that school - only small, about 54 kids in the school and about 9 in the nursery. I've been there for 16 years now - a long time!
That's really great. Those are some lucky kids. :)
